TaxPilot (“we”, “the app”) helps you estimate salary and tax outcomes for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This policy describes what data we process and why.

Data stored on your device

Salary inputs, saved calculations, and preferences are stored locally on your phone or browser unless you explicitly enable cloud features that require an account. We do not sell your calculation data.

Advertising (free tier)

On the free plan, we show ads via Google AdMob (mobile apps) and Google AdSense (website). Google may collect device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data to deliver and measure ads. You can manage consent in the app (EU/EEA) via the Google consent dialog, and on the web via your browser or Google Ads Settings. Premium subscriptions remove in-app ads.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat. We receive entitlement status (premium active or not), not your payment card details.

Analytics

We do not run third-party analytics on calculation content. Hosting logs (Vercel) may include IP addresses and request paths for security and reliability.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold. Contact us using the details on the Imprint page.
